Water and your electric scooter do not mix. If it's raining outside or the road is wet, don't ride your scooter. Water can leak inside the deck which will cause damage.
Your scooter is water resistant, not waterproof. It has been given a rating of Ip53. That means they resist the penetration of water into their sensitive areas, but are not completely waterproof. Light rain or slightly wet surfaces are okay, but it is your risk and not recommended. Damage to the battery due to moisture will VOID your warranty. We strongly advise not to use our scooters in any rain.
Do not leave your scooter outside exposed to heavy downpours.
Never submerge the footboard or the wheels deep under water - the battery and electric motors live there.
As with a bike, be careful when it is wet as it’s possible to slip and fall.
